i have a maltipoo (muffin) who is almost a year and a half and i have a pit bull lab mix (knicks) who is 8 months old. the get their advantage and heartguard every month on the 5th, however about 4 months ago i found fleas on muffin and knicks. i lived in a neighborhood with horrible landscaping, no bug control and it was pretty filthy, so i assumed that regardless of them being on medication they would still get fleas. we gave them flea baths, and re applied advantage (as instructed by our vet) we bugged the house and the fleas were gone. we moved a little over a month ago to a very clean neighborhood. and two days ago i noticed them itching again did a check and sure enough the nasty fleas are back. i found about 5 or 6 in total on muffin, knicks i can't find any one but the dog does not stop scratching himself. i looked over muffin about 15 min ago and couldn't find fleas but i did find alot of eggs. we have not given them flea baths yet or bombed the house. how do we fix this and why do they continuously have reoccurring outbreaks when they are treated every month??? this is driving me crazy!!!

I have a 3 month old male German Shephard/Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix. He had a bowel movement yesterday that was nothing but round worms. So my aunt and I took him to a vet we had never heard of but were able to see us that day. They put Elvis (that\'s his name) on the dewormer and gave him a few other shots. The other shots were called Corona Virus Vaccine and Giardia Vaccine. He also got a Distemper which is ok, I\'ve heard of that one. Can you tell me a little about the other two and if they are necessary? Other vets in my area do not give these and I wanted to know if it was something that Elvis should be getting or if they are not necessary. Also, they never mentioned anything about heartworm. Can you also tell me which vaccines he should be getting at this age? Thank You.

I've had my 5-6 month old puppy for about 2 months. From day 1 we have taken him outside to potty, if he goes he gets lots of praise and a puppy treat. We have not stopped doing this. About the second week we had him he went to get neutered, and when he came home, everything he knew was gone. He no longer urinates in the floor, but we can't get him to stop defecating in the house. I do not want to hit him, or rub his nose in it. Please help!!
