My dog has what seems to be a ringworm on his front paw, what if anything can I do to help it out here at home until I can get him to a vet?

go to walmart and buy some antifungal creme, buy the off brand it has the same ingredients as the more expensive ones. I believe that it can be contagious to humans too.
