How can i leave my puppy on his own for a couple of hours?
my 6 month old boxer boy will not be left alone, if i do he barks the whole time and messes every where. i have a dog cage, but he still messes that, and he treads it all over.

I agree. I have a 3 month old puppy. You have to treat them as if they were children regarding being left alone. If you cannot be with him or monitor what he\’s doing, he needs to be in the kennel. They are just like children, when they get quiet, you better worry. I would recommend leaving him in a kennel with a favorite toy. I always line the kennel with news paper so if he pees, it will absorb most of it. I try to take my pup everywhere I go if possible. But if not, he goes in the kennel. It\’s for his own protection because they will get into everything. Another tip: WHENEVER YOU PUT YOUR PUPPY IN A KENNEL, REMOVE HIS COLLAR!!!! SOME PUPPIES HAVE CHOKED BECAUSE THEY GET CAUGHT OR TANGLED WHEN LEFT ALONE IN THE KENNEL.
