Housebreaking a Puppy
I am having a hard time house-breaking my puppy (5 months). When I take her outside she is so distracted I can keep her out there for an hour and she still will not do anything.
Answer: My puppy will do the same thing. I find that if I put him on a leash and lead him around, he goes faster. When he wants to stop to play, I give him a little tug to let him know to keep moving until he goes. Then once he goes, I allow him to play.
