Rescued Bichon Nips When You Try to Pick Her Up

Question: My dog is about 15 months old, and is a rescue dog.  She is a bichon.  When I approach her to pick her up, she will go for my hands with her mouth, she doesnt really hurt but I am afraid when small children are around and go to pet her she may do the same.  Do you have any suggestions how to stop this behavior? - from Gail

I am impressed by your site. I am studying web design through Mike Cheney’s adsense course and write that report.com. My site will center on education. You obviously paid attention to the lessons and followed through. I am wondering how things are working out. Do you have a staff or do you just do it all yourself? Are you finding the success you were hoping for?

I realize you are very busy, but would really appreciate a brief response.

I am sorry nobody has answered this. My dog was the result of a pincher´s adventure with a poodle. It´s a very cute and happy 10 month puppy but whenever someone wants to pet it, it will get hyper excited and go straight for the hands. Please help me.
