How to Correctly Use Puppy Pads
Question: My female puppy is 5 months old. We are training her to potty on wee-wee pads. She is a poodle pomeranian mix, and is supposed to be about 6 lbs fully grown. She is 4 lbs now. She has been urinating on the pads without fail for about 2 months which is great. She doesn’t poop on the pads very much. Most of the time it is off the pad, maybe 15%of the time its on the pad, but not intentionally. If we see her going we gently pick her up and put her on the pad, but she usually loses the urge and sometime later she will poop off the pad. We keep her in a confined area that is about 4ftx4.5ft,with a pad at the far end, toys and bed at the opposite end, and water near toys. - from Fran
