Bichon Frise Only Wants to Poop Inside
Question: I have a Bichon Frise puppy that is 17 weeks old. We have had him since 9 weeks and are attempting to train him to do his business outside. He is doing pretty well on urinating outside, and will poop outside every morning. However, he will not poop outside any other time of the day. We take him on walks every day, and watch him closely for the “signs” . If we see him get into the position, we take him outside right away. He will not poop outside, no matter how long we are out there with him. But as soon as he comes into the house he will poop. How can we get him to poop outside? - from Michele

Our Bichon loves to poop inside, too! I’ve done everything “by the book” since we brought her home and she still poops inside everyday. She is 5 months old and it is driving me crazy. She will poop outside but if the urge strikes her and we are in….she has no problem pooping anywhere we happen to be! Ugh! I can’t wait to read the response you get.
